You park the car. It is in the space. It is also in about half of the next space. The engine is off. Another happy landing. The presentation crashed, the video had no sound and you called the client by the wrong name. Twice. Nobody died. Success. You made it to the airport gate as they were closing it. Your shoes are in your hand. You are drenched. You made it, and you'd like that noted. The cake came out of the tin in three pieces. With enough icing, it's one piece. With enough icing, it's anything. You serve it with the confidence of a pilot waving from the wreckage. **Why it caught on:** in Revenge of the Sith (2005) Anakin brings down a burning, broken half of General Grievous's flagship on a Coruscant runway, fire crews chasing it, and Obi-Wan, still in his seat, sums it up as "another happy landing." The sub uses it for every disaster where everyone, against the odds, walked away.
