Of course the US will allow people to die from lung cancer and destroy their livers from alcohol abuse, but they won't allow people smoke a bowl and chill. Typical American govt. bullshit.

It has been decriminalized in many parts of the world. As long as you have under a certain amount. The cops may take away your pot and give you a small fine, but you won't likely be arrested or criminally charged in those parts. It also has been decriminalized in many parts of the US as well, and it's legal for recreational use in the state of Colorado.
